Dream Stage Performance – Magaba Hi Cultural Arts Troupe

The "Magabahai Cultural Arts Troupe" has come a long way since 2002, starting from a community dance class and gradually moving onto national and even international stages. For more than 20 years, they have not only continued to perform, but also allowed more and more people to get to know the beauty of Amis culture and feel its warmth through a song or a dance.

In the Amis language, "Magapahi" means "beautiful, wonderful, and full of vitality." This name is very much like the feeling they bring to the audience: powerful yet gentle; rooted in tradition, yet radiating contemporary light.

In their performances, you will hear ancient Amis tunes and songs in their native language, and you will see traditional dance steps and contemporary choreography blending together naturally. It's not just a performance; it's more like telling a story about the land, culture, and people on stage.

What's even more touching is that this cultural continuation doesn't just stop on the stage. The team has been dedicated to indigenous music and dance education and language revitalization for many years, going into communities and schools to sing their own songs and dances with children, so that the culture is not just preserved, but truly lives in everyday life.

📍 Green Expo Dream Stage

We invite you to come and experience it for yourself. In the afternoon at the Green Expo, listen to a song of the Amis people, watch a dance of the land, and give a round of applause to the people who have been dedicated to protecting the culture. This is a cultural heritage moment that is well worth experiencing in person.
