The 2026 Yilan Green Expo officially concluded on May 10th, and this year's "Wheelchair Exercise" delivered an impressive sustainability report card. A total of 5,175 participants joined the event, contributing a cumulative total of 8,335,983 steps!
This isn't just about steps; it's about the low-carbon actions everyone takes with their own two feet. In other words, these 8,335,983 steps are approximately equivalent to:
Reduced CO₂ emissions by 1,183.7 kg.
This is equivalent to driving 7,252 kilometers less.
This is equivalent to approximately 2,375 minutes of carbon dioxide absorption at Daan Forest Park.
That is, approximately 39.6 hours of carbon absorption.
Each step may seem small, but when 5,175 people walk together, they create a powerful green journey.
Today we also completed the step wheel exercise raffle. Congratulations to the two lucky participants who won!

(The organizer will continue to contact the two winners by phone before May 15th to arrange for the prize to be sent. If they cannot be contacted by then, it means that the winners have forfeited their right to the prize.)
Thank you to everyone who participated in wheelchair sports, making the Green Expo more than just an exhibition, but a sustainable practice that we all completed together. We left our footprints in the park, and we also brought more environmentally friendly actions back into our daily lives.
