The M&Ocean band, from the small fishing village of Su'ao in Yilan, is a self-taught band founded by children and their parents.
M stands for More, Mountain, and Miracle, and O stands for Ocean, Opportunity, and Optimism.
This name embodies their dedication to learning and also represents an ocean that can embrace their dreams. From their first performance in the market, they gradually discovered that music is not just about melodies, but also a way to convey stories, emotions, and ideas.
Inspired by "Rock Classroom", they decided to form a real orchestra. From independent rehearsals, stage design, choreography, to English singing and creation, they turned their imagination into the stage step by step, and also wrote their beliefs about environmental protection and peace into their performances. Over the years, the children have grown up with their dreams, from elementary school to high school; and the company of their parents has always been their most stable support.
Today, the M&Ocean band is also working hard to raise funds to go to the United States to participate in music festivals, inviting everyone to support these brave children who are pursuing their dreams, so that the voices from the ends of the earth can reach a wider world.
