The Nanshan Elementary School Atayal Dance Troupe invites you to step into the rhythm of tribal culture and feel the power of heritage through songs and dances. In the mountains and valleys of the Nanshan Tribe in Datong Township, there is a group of elementary school children whose feet tread the rhythms passed down from their ancestors, and whose hearts remember the names and stories of their own tribe.
The Atayal Dance Troupe of Nanshan Elementary School has grown up alongside the school and tribal culture. From songs and dance steps to cultural memories and tribal identity, they have gradually internalized the precious spirit of the Atayal people, singing it into their hearts. With innocent eyes and earnest steps, the children transform the stories told by their tribal elders into the most sincere and vibrant performances on stage. The melodies that grow from the mountains and forests, the songs and dances passed down from generation to generation, are being seen and remembered by more people through the performances of these children.
